Chris Rogers co-anchors Texas Today every weekday from 4:30 to 7 A.M.

Chris is an award winning anchor, the Associated Press named his weekend show one of the top two in the state of Texas. Before joining the Texas Today team, Chris was the weekend anchor at Channel 6. He started his television career in Abilene, Texas, and Chris has since come to embrace the Lone Star State as his home.

A native of Syracuse, New York, Chris went on to earn his undergraduate and graduate degrees in broadcasting and communications at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, where he starred on the Pioneer's football team, holding ten school and conference records, and becoming an All-American in the process. The football culture in Texas has made him feel right at home.

Chris is thrilled to be in Central Texas, and along with his dog Little Bear, is honored to call Texas home.
