Zac Scott has spent most of his life calling the Hogs and loving weather. Zac was born and raised in Central Arkansas. As a young kid he would beg is parents and grandparents to take him on car rides, while it was raining.

A graduate of Bryant High School in Bryant, Ark., Zac earned his Associates of Arts from National Park College in Hot Springs, Ark. before transferring to Mississippi State. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Geo Sciences from Mississippi State and earned his Broadcast Meteorology certification in 2013.

Before making the move to Waco, Zac spent three years at KSWO in Lawton, OK storm chasing and covering severe weather in the Texoma region.

Zac is very close to his family; he has an older brother and little sister. When he’s not overseeing oil rigs in West Texas, his brother Eric lives in Atlanta, Texas with his wife Haley and their two kids, Dylan and Abby. His sister Meredith, who also pursued a career in the media, works for a public relations firm in Little Rock. His loving parents, Roger and Samantha live in Benton, Ark. with their three dogs, Molly, Cappy, and Ruffles. His mother works for a sports medicine clinic in North Little Rock while his father is a morning co-host on the #1 sports radio station in Arkansas, 103.7 The Buzz.
