Harker Heights this Saturday will hold their 13th annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony. And for the first time the parade route will feature a row of 200 American flags.

Marching in the parade will be dignitaries from the area along with veteran associations, high school children and other community members. This year's event is centered around community involvement.

The ceremony at the end of parade will be held at the veteran's monument at Miller's Crossing with speakers talking about what the day means to them.
